About Us

New Life Pentecostal Church is a Christian assembly in Edmonton, Alberta affiliated with the United Pentecostal Church International. Currently we are occupying the building of Kirk United Church for Sunday afternoon and Wednesday services.

Our Pastor

Pastor Ted McGreer has several years experience in ministry and is the founding pastor of New Life Pentecostal Church. He preaches during the Sunday worship service and teaches the Wednesday Bible study, although we occasionally hear from guest speakers during those services. He and his wife Marilyn have three children, all of which are now in their young adult years.

What We Believe

Our doctrinal beliefs are based on the Bible, which we hold as the inerrant Word of God. In particular, we believe that there is one God and that Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh (Deu. 6:4; 2 Tim. 3:16). His death on the cross purchased our redemption and we are saved by grace through faith in Him (Eph. 2:8,9). This faith manifests itself in obedience to the gospel, which includes repentance, baptism by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial evidence of speaking with other tongues (Acts 2:38; 10:44-48).
